Ras Al Khaimah: Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah HH Sheikh Saud Bin Saqar Al Qasimi received today the visiting Zambian Minister of Finance Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane and the delegation accompanying him.

At a meeting held at the Dheet Palace in RAK, they reviewed the bilateral relations between UAE and Zambia and discussed economic cooperation, joint investments and boosting of trade between the two sides.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the RAK Department of Economic Development Sheikh Mohammed Bin Kayed Al Qasimi and a number of officials.

The Zambian Chronicle has been advocates of the Zambian government seriously considering areas of co-operation between the two counties for a long time now. There are tremendous benefits from such as Dubai is poised to soon be the “Jewel” of the Middle East.

We highly commend the new Minister of Finance for the Zambian Enterprise for taking steps in the right direction for mutual benefits of both our countries.

National Development Corner: Barj Dubai – World’s Tallest Building Is Now In Dubai …

We are so glad the powers that be are paying attention. One of the most serious things Dr. Musokotwane needs to discuss with them is the re-establishment of Zambia Airways using UAE flight code sharing systems on Fly Emirates.

This would be the biggest joint venture program the Zambian Enterprise need to take advantage of. The next one would be to increase exports to Dubai for Cement. UAE has the world’s fastest growing construction economy per capita …

The third thing is an introduction of cargo flights to the SADC region using Zambia as the exclusive hub air freight center in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our central location gives us the leverage to be … you just don’t know how much the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise would benefit from this in terms of new jobs and other economic derivatives … thanks a trillion
